MULTI-PURPOSE ITI-ROLL SHUTTERS

ITI-Roll Shutters are an ideal solution against the many hazards facing your home or business windows and doors (see list below). Generally installed on the outside but operated from the inside, ITI-Roll Shutters allow you protection from all external elements without having to go outside to roll them up and down. They operate in one of the following 3 ways: a manual pull strap, a manual turn crank, or a switch engaging an electric motor. The strap is the least expensive way but its function is limited in the size of the roll shutter. The crank is geared to allow larger roll shutters to be operated without the need for a motor. The motor is the most expensive operation, but it allows you to simply push a button to raise and lower the roll shutter. All three methods allow you to stop the roll shutter at any position from all the way up to all the way down to anywhere in between.

ITI-Roll Shutters consist of three primary visible external components: the slats which interlock to provide the actual shield; two tracks, one on each side, that serve as guides for the slats so they do not dislodge; one shutter housing at the top where the slats roll into when the shutter is rolled up. The tracks and housing are always made of extruded anodized aluminum in either the three standard stock colors of white, light beige, or brown or an assortment of custom made colors - all of which are powder coated and baked-on paint which does not need to be repainted. The slats are either made of aluminum or PVC (Vinyl) in standard stock white or beige or again other custom colors. The dimensions of the shutter housing is 6 x 6 inches to 8 x 8 inches square depending on the height of the roll shutter. The tracks are approximately 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick. The slats are about 1.5 inches high per slat.

Depending on the materials utilized, ITI-Roll Shutters can span up to approximately 13 feet in width and height. Special materials are even available to accommodate larger openings.
